Albert Adrià began his professional career in 1985 when arrived to ElBulli, where his older brother Ferrán was head chef. After two years he decided to specialise in pastry, to later collaborate in the workshop and in the creative work of the restaurant. He currently owns six restaurants in Barcelona. At the same time, he carries out other projects such as Heart or a pop up restaurante for 50 days at Hotel Café Royal in London.
